WavTap Records Your Computer's Audio with the Press of a Keyboard ShortcutOS X: Screenshot and screencasting apps are popular, allowing you to easily record images and video of the contents of your screen. But what about audio? WavTap fills that void by allowing you to record any audio that comes from your computer as simply as a screenshot.

Press Command+Control+Space and WavTap will start recording your computer audio. Press those keys again and it'll stop, then save a WAV file to your desktop. Better yet, if you just heard something you wished you recorded, you can go WavTap's menubar icon and choose to save the last 20 seconds of computer audio instead. It's a really simple tool for capturing whatever sound your computer makes.
